December as absolutely flown by. Can't believe it's almost Christmas. Mind you leaving school so late this year makes a difference- usually we have a few weeks home before Christmas. Not that my family is religious in the slightest- but we do do Christmas.
Really feel like I have had enough sun for one summer. After the beach day tomorrow and christmas more indoor activities would be nice. Set up a fort in my room called The Fort of Darkness, and all outings can be held there.
I just feel like listing places in Perth I can think of going to which we don't do:
- Darklight
- Great Escape
- Bayswater Waves
- Trigg Beach
- Scitech
- Movies (old, but always new movies out)
- Mandurah
- Rave (lol)
- City
- Arena
- Movie Marathons
- Adventure World (non peak- 2010 term 4)
- Ice Skating
- Zoo
- Park
Probably more we could do aswell. Indoor would be nice. This weather is not nice. Very hot and sticky.
Not really up for much of a ramble tonight. Just a quick write up.
Back from Busselton. Was busy but fun. Spent half of Saturday down at Bunker Bay- a beautiful beach that one. Saw some family: Gran, Granddad, Aunt, Uncle, 2 Cousins + Husband, 2 second Cousins. Second cousins are gorgeous. Little bub took a liking to me- was stuck holding her for almost and hour and chucking her around and she's not a light baby either. Compared to my almost 1yr old cousin, shes very heavy and shes only 10months. As you can imagine my arm was dead afterwards. The Esplanade Pub's meals have improved- probably new cook. Food looked nice and tasted better. Discovered a new hotel for next time, The Grand Mecure Busselton Apartments. To be honest I don't think you can do too bad with a Mercure Hotel. Stayed in a Mercure when I was in Paris this year. World-Wide. Was really nice though and rather new. I could live at the hotel easily. Walked through. Looked stunning. The pools looked really nice.
Had enough of blogging now. Hope for no suburn tomorrow... usually pretty good with that. Feeling the most freckly/tanned I've ever been and still around 3 months of this weather to go (I don't tan very well, i tend to just burn and stay albino). But sick of the sun now. Air-conditioner and indoor pools for the win.
Ok off to bed now, but will leave with a photo of Bunker Bay, my favorite beach, which I took as I was leaving. Cape Naturaliste is so nice. That's one thing Western Australia have going for them- good beaches. This beach in particular is unbelievably clear and that's why I like it so much. Clear, Cool, Quiet, Smoothe, Fun!
