Dream Interpretation

Last night I had a strange dream. It wasn't a bad dream either... even though my best friend was murdered. Go Figure!

First I was at the beach with MJ and he was commenting on some random guys murder. Then I went home with HG for sleepover and she asked if we wanted to go into the spa or little pool. (HG has a Pool at home. no spa) She decides on little pool which is on the roof. She climbs up and by the time I get up shes been murdered and the media are quickly on to it. Soon I'm home (?) but inside its more like a train. WY and SG are there and seem very disconcerned by HG's death. Then JF is there all of a sudden and sits nexts to me. Then I cry because I'd witnessed murder and JF is trying to be sympathetic. WY has errupted into laughter and just doesnt shut up for ages. SG has moved from sitting next to her, embarassed probably. We laugh at WY. Then we all eat these new kind of Cherry Ripes and JF's fill is pink and mines greeny-yellow so I'm pretty jealous. Then I woke up.

So for a fun activity and something to do, I decided to interpret it using http://www.dreammoods.com. The definitions were kind of a surprise to me however all linked together I couldn't help but notice that they kind of made sense together. So I picked out the main aspects of the dream and here are just the simplified definitions.

Beach (looking out to ocean): Unknown and Major changes are occuring in your life.

Murder (witness): Indicates deep-seated anger towards someone.

Pool: Need to understand and deal with your emotions. (dive right in).

Media: There are messages you need to convey and get across to others.

Crying: A release of negative emotions and a way to safely let out your fears and frustrations.

Laughter: Need to lighten up and let go of your problems. (also a sign of joyous release and pleasure).

Hugs/Cuddles: Need for physical and/or emotional contact.

Chocolate: Self-reward.

I put the definitions in order of occurence. But they do link together. It made me wonder how true dream interpretation is and what is it telling me. I mean some of its got to be true atleast anyway... this is all phycological stuff. I'm generally a very postive, carefree, happy person, and since its school holidays and I'm not working, I'm even more relaxed. Ok perhaps I am over thinking this. Maybe not. I'm just fascinated by Dream Interpretation all of a sudden tonight. Certainly gives you something to think about. Who am I angry at? Who do I need to speak to? Also the people in the dream also makes me think. Why was HG singled out to be murdered...and why on a roof? (maybe that is just part of our phantomness making its way into the dream). Why was WY, SG and JF singled out in last half of the dream out of all the people I sit with (WY and SG are besties anyway, but why only those 2 girls and why JF out of all the guys I'm friends with). And why was it MJ on the beach? Questions like that. I can't help but think there may be some truth behind its meaning.

Well it certainly proved an interesting use of time tonight. Maybe I will look into the next dream I have using the same website (was first 2 results on google when i searched 'Dream Interpretation') just for a bit of fun.
